Chief Executive Officer

Jason began his entrepreneurial career while still an undergraduate at The University of Texas. After interning with a commercial real estate and investments firm in New York, Jason returned to Austin with plans to join a brokerage team. Instead, Jason founded RPM Living to take on a growing portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets, including management contracts for third-party investors acquiring and holding real estate.

Chief Operating Officer, Investments

Josh manages all aspects of the growing portfolio, overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, debt financing, asset management, and partnership accounting while aggressively searching for new target assets to expand RPM’s geographical reach. Prior to RPM Living Investments, he took numerous assets full-cycle at F&B Capital, which he joined in 2013 after spending five years practicing real estate law in Phoenix. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mauck is the Chief Financial Officer for RPM Living, where he oversees accounting, finance, and risk management. Jim joined CF Real Estate Services in 2016 as CFO. Prior to this position, Mr. Mauck held the CFO role for Key Property Services, a leader in the institutional single-family rental industry. Mr. Mauck previously served as CFO for Miles Properties, a national owner, property manager and developer of multi-family assets that managed over 20,000 units at its peak. Prior to joining Miles, Mr. Mauck served as VP-Finance for a division of Pulte Homes where he led the finance and HR functions for the division and played a key role in the division's growth. Mr. Mauck has also held the CFO role for an IT services company, various management positions at US Airways and started his career with KPMG. He has a BS in Accounting and Certificate of Double Major in Finance from Virginia Tech. He became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1998.

Chief Operating Officer

With over 30 years in the multifamily industry, Chad’s experience includes oversight of assets primarily throughout Texas and the Southeast. His operations background comprises garden-style and mid-rise properties through lease-up, stabilization, and value-add periods. Chad holds his Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designations and studied Public Relations at Texas State University.

With more than 20 years in property management operations, Kevin is experienced at working with conventional market rate and affordable communities, and high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. He is adept at leading large operational teams and managing large portfolios. For the past 12 years, he’s held senior leadership roles, including most recently with CF Real Estate Services.

Division President West

As Division President, Cynthia oversees operations across RPM’s Central, Southwest, Mountain West, Northwest, and West regions as well as Affordable Housing, Compliance and Portfolio Management nationally. With 17 years’ multifamily experience, she specializes in a variety of asset types including lease-ups, value-add rehabs, and Class A and B garden-style, and mid- and high-rise, with extensive experience in retail management, large portfolio acquisitions, and interior design. Her hyper-focus on her team’s continued development and efforts to grow the firm’s presence have been integral to RPM’s success in the Central region. Previously, Cynthia served as Senior VP at Alliance Residential Company where she oversaw Alliance-owned and third-party assets across the Texas market. She holds her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation as recognized by NAA.

Max O. Reinbach III

Executive Vice President, Client Services

Since joining RPM Living in December 2016, Max has successfully grown the managed portfolio by more than 80,000 units. Today he is responsible for all business development efforts related to the third-party fee management platform. Previously he served as Market Principal at Greystar where he led business development efforts in the central south region and was responsible for the growth of the Austin, Corpus Christi, Midland, and San Antonio markets. He holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

With more than 17 years of marketing and industry experience, Alexis plays an integral role in positioning RPM Living as a differentiator with an overall focus on brand equity. She spearheads all marketing, advertising, communications, BI, and social media initiatives and possesses a high-level understanding of organizational vision, client relations, and strategic enterprise planning due to her skilled background in executive leadership. Prior to joining RPM, Alexis led the development and build-out of the industry’s first ever in-house marketing agency at Alliance Residential and helped grow the organization into a NMHC Top 5 management company.

Mariana Estrada, CPM®

Chief Strategy Officer

With over a decade of experience in multifamily operations, administration and program development, Mariana now leads strategic planning, project management, revenue management, transitions and due diligence, and procurement and ancillary services at RPM Living. With a focus on leveraging technology to drive organizational performance, Mariana directs strategic programs that enhance the value of our clients’ assets and RPM’s management services. Mariana holds a Masters degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received her CPM designation in 2015.

Scott Pechersky

Chief Technology Officer

Scott oversees the development and implementation of new technologies across RPM Living’s portfolio and managing the corporate infrastructure, property management software solutions and BI division. Previously, Scott led Alliance Residential’s technology department for almost 20 years and has served as moderator and speaker at multiple NMHC tech and MFE conferences and Chair of NMHC’s Systems Technology and Information Management Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.

Chief Human Resources Officer

Penny is responsible for all human resource functions, recruitment and retention, learning, associate development and engagement, corporate administrative support, and facilities. She and her teams focus on associate programs that encourage job satisfaction, well-being, productivity and longevity. Prior to joining RPM Living, she spent 15 years as the VP of Corporate Services with LSO Regional Shipping Company and 10 years as Managing Partner of her own boutique executive search firm. Penny holds a bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s from the University of Northern Colorado and is a frequent corporate speaker on leadership development.

Chief Legal Officer

Kasi joins RPM from Sneed, Vine, and Perry, a prestigious Austin law firm where she was a shareholder in the real estate practice area. Her expertise includes not only real estate and financing transactions, but also mergers, acquisitions, and business and corporate law. She assists the RPM Investments team and provides legal and strategic guidance to the management company. Kasi obtained her law degree from the University of Texas and her B.A. from Texas Tech University.

With 14 years in digital marketing, brand and media strategy experience, Lindsay focuses on optimizing RPM Living's property marketing team, elevating partnerships and enhancing performance education across all media touchpoints. She has experience managing teams on both the client and agency-side and is highly skilled at media strategy, demographic analysis,  business development and education for performance analytics and marketing KPIs. Prior to joining RPM, Lindsay held leadership positions at multiple large companies and worked with top global and national brands ranging from Samsung, Sprint, LG, PetSmart, ColdStone Creamery, AT&T and Alliance Residential.

Senior Vice President of Corporate Development

Brent is responsible for identifying and analyzing corporate growth opportunities internally through strategy development, and externally through sourcing, evaluating and executing M&A opportunities. He has a proven track record of success in the real estate industry with experience in creating innovative solutions to business problems through the use of leading technology, database architecture, information management, and finance. Brent has an MBA and Master of Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin.

 

Shanna Berrien

Shanna Berrien

Senior Vice President of Risk

Shanna has spent the last 20 of her 30+ years’ experience in multifamily focused on the risk and insurance management platform. She is responsible for RPM’s master insurance program, risk and contract management, and compliance. Previously, Shanna created and ran the risk and insurance department at CWS Apartment Homes LLC for 18+ years, managing a $2.5B portfolio placement. She is credited with implementing their renter’s insurance platform, OSHA program, and training, as well as establishing and managing a very successful captive program. Shanna studied at St. Edwards University and holds her RIMS-CRMP and CIC designations. In her free time, Shanna enjoys spending time working and hunting with her German shorthaired pointer pups.

Vice President of Transitions and Due Diligence

Logan has a decade of industry experience and has spent the past nine years with RPM where she started out onsite before moving into a corporate role to assist with takeovers. She is responsible for building out, growing, and overseeing the Transitions and Due Diligence department which manages the entire takeover process for communities onboarding to RPM, as well as disposition management, due diligence, and utility management. The department handled just 20 takeovers in its first year, and in 2021, managed over 200 takeovers. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Vice President of Construction Services

Paul has been with our collective group since 2013 and provides oversight for the construction division. His background in accounting and structural engineering set the stage for his 30-year career which is comprised of firsthand knowledge within all facets of the residential and commercial building industries including plan development and past ownership of residential and commercial engineering firms. He transitioned into multifamily with a primary focus on management 15 years ago and has continued to provide clients with guidance. Paul prides himself on growing and maintaining successful client partnerships from the inception of property purchases, through asset repositioning and execution of the work itself.

With nearly a decade of multifamily experience, supporting and creating marketing strategies for a variety of verticals including senior, student, affordable, rebrands/repositioned, lease-up, and conventional communities, Victoria brings a unique advantage to her role where she represents Client Services on the Executive Board. She joined RPM in 2017 to help create and build out the Marketing department, growing the team to include regional marketing support and in-house services and assisting in the company’s first rebrand. Prior to joining RPM, Victoria started onsite with Village Green where she was awarded Top 20 Sales Professionals and received national recognition with NAA.

VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT SERVICES, STUDENT

Theresa Sopata joined the company in 2022 and maintains identification and oversight of all new student business opportunities. She is also responsible for establishing and nurturing client relationships. She has over 15 years of successful property management and business development experience that includes student housing, multi-family, commercial and new developments. Prior to joining RPM, Theresa has served in various client services roles where she has been responsible for facilitating key communication with clients to drive portfolio growth, assisting clients with their strategies for asset renovation, consulting on lease-up assets, tracking changing market conditions, and tracking new management technologies. Theresa received a bachelor’s degree in individual and family studies from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Theresa is also a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) Emerging Leaders Committee.

Vice President of Analytics

Daniel is an analytics leader who loves data and using it to make decisions. Over the past seven years in both multifamily and healthcare, he's helped develop and measure KPIs that drive large-scale performance improvement. Additionally, he’s helped support and grow several corporate analytics transformations to a full stack, big data solution. Daniel has a Master’s of Public Policy focused in Empirical Methodologies and Statistics at UT Austin, a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center, and an undergraduate degree in Neurobiology from UT Austin.

Danica Weston

Vice President of Payroll & HRIS Systems

Danica has spent the last five years with Alliance Residential Company in a variety of responsible roles, serving as HRIS Project Coordinator, Human Capital Project Manager, Senior Payroll Payroll Manager, and most recently, as the Director of Payroll and People Systems. There, she was instrumental in the implementation of their new UKG System and many its components. Prior to her time with Alliance, Danica was with Blackhawk Network as a Program and Technical Account Manager and with Arizona State University as a Program Coordinator. She holds a B. S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.

Senior Vice President of Property Accounting

Over her 17-year career, Kim has extensive experience leading and building teams, implementing change management, and assisting with Property Accounting projects. Since joining RPM, Kim has successfully recruited and led the Phoenix Accounting team, onboarded a 30+ asset portfolio, and participated in many new department initiatives. As VP of Property of Accounting, Kim has oversight across the national property accounting team, taking a leading role in department initiatives including cross collaboration with other directors and departments. She is also responsible for the training and recruiting strategy across the greater property accounting team.

Dixie Anderson

Vice President of Software Support

As Vice President of Software Support, Dixie oversees the optimization, management, and support of all RPM property management platforms. She has both domestic and international experience in a diverse range of industries including industrial, commercial, retail, corporate, and multi-family real estate. Over the course of her career, Dixie has managed more than 75 property management system implementations and consulted for clients like Republic Industries and Charles Schwab. Prior to joining RPM in 2017, Dixie served in leadership roles at BNY Mellon and Related. She enjoys mentoring new graduates and has established academic scholarships to support community service and healthcare innovation. Dixie is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Accounting and minor in Computer Science.

Cerwin Thompson

Vice President of Facilities

Cerwin joined RPM in 2018 as a Regional Facilities Manager with over 24 years’ experience in the multifamily industry in both conventional and student housing. He has a strong passion for our Service teams and diverse experience working with a wide variety of Class A-D assets including garden-style, midrise, high-rise, new construction, and lease-up communities. During his time in student housing, Cerwin oversaw approximately 5,000 beds across 14 buildings on the facilities side in the Austin area. Prior to joining RPM, Cerwin held positions at JPI, Greystar, and American Campus Communities. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Eckerd College.

As Vice President of Client Services, Doug oversees business development in the Southeast Region. He has experience in a range of areas including revenue optimization, strategic planning and implementation, and customer satisfaction. Prior to joining RPM, Doug served as Senior Director leading a team of 10 business development managers across the U.S. Doug enjoys building new relationships and creating successful partnerships that provide value to his clients. He is a graduate of The University of Georgia and a long-time Atlanta resident.

Steve is an accomplished technology leader who continually confronts and solves challenging IT and business problems. His global experience delivering technology solutions spans 30+ years across multiple industries, allowing for a unique technology perspective. Steve’s entrepreneurial spirit and drive for innovation, along with a strong business and engineering acumen, focuses on delivering business solutions that provide customers high performance, adaptability, scalability, and sustainability. Steve is a highly principled relationship builder and team leader who positions organizations for the next stage of growth through collaboration and trust, enhancing individual growth and instilling a culture of success.

Vice President of Procurement

Tim is responsible for the management of procurement and ancillary services for RPM. He and his team focus on strategic sourcing, innovation planning, risk management, corporate governance, sustainability, and operational excellence, and creating and managing the next generation of supply programs to improve organizational resiliency, agility, and growth prospects. He has an extensive background in procurement and supply chain management with 30+ years’ experience leading procurement organizations at large global enterprises. Prior to joining RPM, Tim held leadership roles at multiple real estate and property management firms including ServiceMaster, SP+, ABM Industries, Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE. Tim has a bachelor’s from Western Illinois University and holds a CPSM® designation from the Institute for Supply Management.

With over 30 years in the multifamily industry, Jaynee’s experience ranges from operations, training and development, revenue management, software systems, and ancillary services. With a rich background in groundbreaking implementations that blend technology and operational efficiencies.  Jaynee is responsible for building and oversight of centralized services by unifying operational efficiencies, system automation, and cohesive workflows among operations and cross-departments. Prior to joining RPM, Jaynee held leadership positions at Archstone Communities for over 20 years and, most recently, Cottonwood Residential.

Danielle leads our Corporate Marketing team, driving high-touch internal and external communications and creative strategies focused on employee engagement, executive positioning, and corporate and brand messaging that differentiates RPM Living and its operational support specialties in the marketplace. A former magazine editor, Danielle shifted into the multifamily space in 2010 and has spent the past 13 years unpacking the property management approach to public relations and corporate communications, shaping it with a storytelling lens that focuses on the how, when and why to build brand equity, support successful change management, and generate engagement and understanding across a variety of audiences. Prior to joining RPM, Danielle developed and led the PR/communications approach at Alliance Residential Company and helped to build an internal marketing communications and creative function within Greystar’s property management division. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Arizona State University.

Chris joined RPM Living in 2023 to lead the organization’s flexible living and lifestyle service initiatives. Transitioning from a 15-year career in the hospitality industry, Chris brings a wealth of strategic experience with some of the world’s most recognizable hotel brands – such as Hilton, IHG, and The Peninsula Hotels. Prior to joining RPM, Chris worked for The Guild, leading their Commercial, Product, and Central Operations teams as the Vice President of Growth. Chris earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from The University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.

Derek Iannelli

Vice President of Client Services

As Vice President of Client Services, Derek is responsible for building upon and identifying new client relationships and executing RPM Living’s third-party management growth strategy across the Mountain West and West Coast divisions. Derek joined RPM Living from Sares Regis Group where he successfully established a business development team and platform to assist the company’s third-party management growth into new markets. Derek has additionally held leadership positions with Greystar Real Estate Partners and Transwestern. Based in Phoenix, Derek earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Arizona State University and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Arizona.

With over 25 years in corporate treasury, Tom’s experience includes cross-functional expertise in finance, technology, and accounting at public, private, and non-profit organizations. Tom oversees the Treasury Department with responsibility for cash management, investments, and RPM’s 100+ banking relationships. Prior to joining RPM, Tom held treasury positions with Marriott, Avis Budget Group, and Darden Restaurants. He holds credentials as a Certified Treasury Professional and Certified Plan Sponsor Professional.

Vice President of Business Systems

A.J. is passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build software products and processes that have a positive impact across the organization. As the Vice President of Business Systems, he is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of best-in-class software systems across RPM's corporate and on-site teams. Prior to joining RPM, AJ spent 20 years in technology & product leadership roles at Kingsley Associates and Grace Hill, building customer experience software products for commercial and multifamily real estate firms. A.J. has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.

Alumine Bellone RPM in January of 2023 as the Vice President of Risk Management. With over a decade of experience working for large healthcare systems, she has an extensive background in overseeing complex risk management programs. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Alumine received her bachelor's degree in communication and economics from the University of Miami before completing her Master's degree at Vanderbilt University. Alumine's outstanding work has been recognized by the industry, having been awarded the 2016 RIMS Rising Star award, as well as the 2018 Risk Manager of the Year by Risk & Insurance Magazine. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at RPM, where she is responsible for the organization's risk management program.

As Executive Vice President of Operations, Stephanie oversees a portfolio of just under 30,000 units, including all conventional assets in North Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas, as well as RPM’s national Affordable Housing portfolio and Compliance Department. Stephanie has over 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry across the US and Canada, on a wide range of asset types, but primarily new construction lease-up, value-add, student housing, and HUD. Stephanie specializes in capital improvements, associate development, budgeting, and market analysis. She has a broad history in the business and has worked for both student housing and conventional operators, as well as a private real estate investment firm. Her unique blend of experience in both property management and asset management allows her to serve her clients at the highest level.

Kelly joined RPM with over ten years in multifamily management industry. Kelly’s experience includes conventional and renovation communities. Kelly is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®). She earned her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation in 2013, and is currently an Associate Member of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Senior Vice President, Houston

Ingrid has extensive experience in both Houston and San Antonio markets. Previously, she spent 16 years with Alliance Residential where she most recently served as Regional Vice President over 11,000 units. Her experience consists of extensive budgeting, due diligence, repositioning, rebranding and marketing. She has played keys roles in business development and has led her teams to success through lease-ups, acquisitions, dispositions and renovation/value-add. She currently holds her ARM and Certified Property Manager (CPM®) Candidate through IREM.

Senior Vice President of Operations, Mid-Atlantic/Midwest

Wendy’s 20 years’ experience in the multifamily industry includes A+ to C, lease-up and stabilized assets in suburban areas, urban in-fill and mixed-use developments. Her expertise includes high barrier to entry markets and competitive soft markets, specializing in garden and mid-rise developments. Most recently, she served as a Senior Regional Vice President at CF Real Estate Services.

Jennifer joined RPM with more than 20 years of experience in multifamily property management. Before joining us, she worked as Regional Director of Operation for a national property management company and oversaw operations of 2,500 units across multiple states and markets. She has proven success on a wide range of assets including lease up, conventional garden style, value add, short-term furnished housing, tax credit, HUD, and bond financing. Her vast hands-on experience serves clients versatility to achieve overall operational needs and deliver top performance.

Lisa joined RPM with over 25 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Previously, she served as the President of Operations for a privately owned start-up that saw a portfolio growth of over 13,000 units. Lisa has proven success and specializes in portfolios comprised of HUD, tax credit, bond financing, value-add, student housing, new construction and conventional garden style. Lisa’s blend of both affordable and conventional management offers our communities and clients a unique opportunity to maximize not only revenue but superb customer service. Lisa holds her CAPS, COS, and SHCM designations.

Heather oversees the day-to-day operations of our student housing division while leading strategic planning, facilitating execution, overseeing financial performance, and fostering client relationships. She has 20 years’ experience in the student housing industry in both the public and private sectors, and on varying asset classes and types. She most recently served as the Senior Vice President for CF Real Estate Services’ student housing division, Campus First Student Living.

Trisha joins RPM with more than 15 years’ experience in the multi-family industry and previously oversaw a 17,000-unit portfolio of class A communities in the Arizona market. She has extensive lease-up and new development experience and is well-versed in operations, asset management, and new business, having worked with a multitude of notable developers throughout her career. Her background in interior design has been invaluable in providing guidance to developers and owners on new construction, rehabilitation, renovation, and repositioning projects. Trisha previously served as Regional Vice President of Operations at Alliance Residential where she oversaw portfolio operations and management and played an integral role in the continued expansion of the Phoenix market. Trisha holds an active Arizona real estate license.

Vice President, Austin

Heejon has had a long and successful career in Property Management, in which she has had experience in Lease-ups, Value Add, and Student Portfolios. Heejon most recently worked for Steadfast Companies, and has also grown her knowledge at JPI, American Campus Communities, and Western Rim Properties. Heejon has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin, is a CPM®, and has her CAPS designation.

Shandy Kellams, CPM®

Vice President, Austin

Shandy joined RPM Living with 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry and 6 years in digital marketing/branding. During her tenure, she has built strong client relationships, brought extensive marketing knowledge that excelled lease-ups, grown rents and value that led to the profitable disposition of multiple developed and 3rd party assets, and cultivated high-performing teams that have consistently exceeded expectations. Previously, she oversaw operations, asset performance, dispositions, and marketing for Alliance Residential South Texas new development. Shandy is a member of IREM and holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation.

Previously, Jennifer served as Regional Manager with Lincoln Property Company, Director of Real Estate in South Florida with Greystar, and most recently Regional VP in South Florida with ZRS Management, overseeing a portfolio of 41 assets and 11,000+ units. Jennifer is a leader with a high focus on team building, career growth and team member satisfaction, building client relationships and operational successes. She holds her Florida real estate license and has earned both CAM and LCAM designations.

Tony joins RPM with extensive and diverse multifamily experience, working in California and Texas markets. He’s led experienced teams across the country, working on a range of asset types from renovation and value-add to luxury Class-A assets. Tony has a unique background as a TV journalist prior to his experience in multifamily and is passionate about people, operations, technology, culture, and his family. He is a respected thought leader in the industry and provides unique perspectives to today’s relevant topics. Tony is currently on the Board of Directors for the San Antonio Apartment Association (SAAA) and educator and speaker for the Real Estate Council San Antonio (RECSA).

Rachel joined RPM in 2020 as a Sr. Regional Manager over Houston area assets. She started her multifamily career in 2009 working with Campus Advantage and Alliance Residential over a wide range of midrise and garden style assets – including student housing, lease-up, and stabilized (rehab/acquisition/repositioning/disposition). Rachel has proven her ability to lead high-performing teams, exceed market expectations, and produce solid client relationships. Rachel is a graduate of Texas A&M University, holds her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) Designation and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) Candidate.

Christopher’s diverse background has spanned over 10 years in high-level management roles. Starting in hospitality, Christopher operated a leading hotel conglomerate, Hilton Hotels, before transitioning to multifamily. Prior to joining RPM, Christopher began his multifamily career at Alliance Residential. He fuses the operational analytics of property management with the customer service of hospitality. During his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership and has a proven track record building dynamic and performance-driven teams. Christopher’s skills lie in organization, analytics and financials, productivity design, increasing cash flow, client relationships, and mentorship.

Jessica joined RPM with over 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Before joining our team, Jessica was a Regional Vice President at Alliance Residential overseeing 10,000 units across the Colorado market. Her experience includes both lease up and stabilized assets, as well as extensive renovations and rebranding initiatives. Jessica holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and has earned her Certified Property Manager® designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Zak Sawan has a combined history of 20 years in the multifamily industry. His background includes a variety of asset types ranging from garden-style communities to high-rise buildings but emphasized class-A lease-up properties and renovations. He joined RPM as a Regional Manager for the DFW area after working as a Regional Manager for Alliance Residential in the same market. His tenure with Alliance stretched 5 years; overseeing mixed-use, renovation, and mid-rise and high-rise assets. Zak currently oversees the DFW, Oklahoma, and Louisiana conventional portfolio for RPM.

Candice Harris

Candice Harris

Candice Harris oversees affordable communities in the Dallas metroplex and in the state of Louisiana. Candice has been a successful multifamily property business operator for more than 20 years, starting her career in Southern California as a Property Manager before being promoted to Regional Property Manager for multiple sites in the Los Angeles County area. Candice relocated to the Dallas area in 2012 and has extensive experience in new construction, lease-ups, acquisitions, renovations, re-positions, and financially and physically stressed assets, including experience with tax credits, bond programs, and HUD.  She has proven her abilities to lead her team to success, hire the right people, and train and motivate associates. Her strengths include strategic thinking, team building, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management. Candice has earned a Certified Apartment Manager designation from the National Apartment Association in addition to several compliance certifications for tax-credit assets.

Amber Jacobs brings 25+ years of experience to her role as Vice President of Operations for the greater Austin Metro. Originally from Southern California and currently based in Austin, she focuses on instilling advanced operational efficiency, leading with transparency, unifying teams and cultivating stakeholder satisfaction. With a focus on people, growth, and progression, Amber has an extensive background in new development, value-add repositioning and stabilizing assets. In her previous role, Amber was a Senior Director with FPI Management overseeing 13,000+ units and played a critical role in stabilizing and expanding the company’s Southwest business. During this time, Amber’s approach rendered measurable impacts, such as optimizing ROI, implementing new innovative repositioning strategies, and transforming a negative rent growth position into a multimillion-dollar profit. In conjunction with first-hand experiences, Amber is a California Certified Residential Manager and participates in ongoing industry training.

Jacob Schumaker has more than 17 years of experience in the conventional multifamily industry with extensive experience in Class A urban-core high-rises, suburban garden and wrap communities, and value-add assets. Prior to joining RPM Living, Jacob was a Regional Manager with Lincoln Property Company; most recently, he served as Vice President of Property Management for Akara Partners, a vertically integrated owner/operator overseeing a national portfolio of Class A properties. He is a graduate of DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Jacob serves on the Board of Directors for Chicagoland Apartment Association and co-chairs the annual CAMME Awards. He holds an Accredited Residential Manager designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management and an Illinois Broker’s License.

Kim Peavy brings 20+ years of proven success in developing and leading multimillion-dollar portfolios and top-performing teams across the Southeast. She began her career working with two of the country’s top REITs, then moved to third-party management with a primary focus on new development/ lease-up, value-add, and stabilized A & B assets. In addition to portfolio management, Kim was the Managing Director of Strategic Services. Her team consisted of training, marketing, systems, revenue management, and maintenance facilities. Her experiences have shaped her ability to develop forward-thinking strategies, create a top-performing environment, and generate above-average success for associates and clients.

Ashley Jones brings 25+ years of experience in the property management industry, across new development, student living, military housing, value-add, and stabilized assets throughout the Central and Southeast. Ashley has a unique ability to build solid and sustaining teams, and prides herself on developing talent. She is a problem solver with great strengths in budgeting and financial management, due diligence and acquisitions, marketing, business plan development and strategic planning for distressed communities. She is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association.

Jeremy is a servant and strategic leader, with more than 15 years of experience including oversight of portfolios of 25,000+ units and 450 team members. Jeremy's real estate experiences span throughout the Southeast, Texas, and the Midwest. Jeremy is institutionally minded, and entrepreneurially spirited, understanding the demands of a tough market and how to pivot quickly when necessary, while ensuring his teams and clients are always top priority. Jeremy prides himself in building next-gen leaders with problem-based scenario learning. He holds his Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and is currently pursuing his CPM (Certified Property Manager) with IREM. Jeremy has been active with various apartment associations at both the local and national level, and currently serves as the President of the Southeast Florida Apartment Association. He received an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana Institute of Technology, Bachelors in Business Administration from California Coast University (CCU) and will graduate with his Master’s in Business Administration in May 2023 from CCU.

Nicole McClairn oversees Affordable Compliance for our national portfolio. Nicole has more than 30 years of property management experience in a plethora of affordable housing roles, including Vice President of Compliance, Director of Compliance and Training, Relocation Director, and Regional Manager, to name a few. Nicole initially began her career on-site and worked her way up to the corporate level, so she knows the challenges and rewards that come with being on a community. She has extensive experience in Section 8, Section 202, LIHTC Section 42, Bond, Relocation, HOME, PFC Programs, FHA Mortgage requirements and many other affordable housing programs. Her resume includes properties throughout the country, providing additional knowledge to multiple state-specific programs. Nicole is passionate about affordable housing because the need is great, and she believes that everyone should have a place they are proud to call home. Nicole holds the following certifications: Certified Occupancy Specialist Advanced (COSA), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), Management and Occupancy Review Specialists (MORS), Certified Housing Manager (CHM), Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Certified Manager of Maintenance (CMM), Senior Housing Specialist (SHS), and Assisted Housing Manager (AHM).

Rebecca has been active in the multifamily industry for more than 25 years. Prior to joining RPM, Rebecca oversaw more than 18,000 units in the PNW for Cushman and Wakefield. Rebecca’s expertise in new development preconstruction planning, repositioning assets, acquisition underwriting and analysis, construction planning, capital projects and execution, financial performance, business development, asset management make her skilled in all facets of the business. Her experience ranges from mid-high rises as well as Class A and B garden style homes. Rebecca’s passion is associate training and leading her teams. She has a desire to mentor the teams she has curated and led over her vast career. Prior to Cushman and Wakefield Rebecca was Vice President of the PNW with Alliance Residential Company. Rebecca continues to be a vital asset in growing and developing Oregon and Washington.
